The "A to Z Wonderful Words Workbook" is an absolute gem for my child. The resource is fantastically designed, making challenging words enjoyable for my child to learn. Each letter words are challenging but also rich in meaning.

It is lovely as parent to hear my child use words we never got exposed too when we were their age at 7, and for him to be using it daily in his vernacular. Even I have learned many new words and challenge my husband too for fun :)

The teachers have noticed an improvement in my child’s vocabulary, mentioning it to me on parents evening in just 2 weeks after we started completing the workbook. I know this workbook has played a key role in him achieving the highest grades this year.

The workbook has improved his language skills and his confidence in speaking and writing in home and in school.

I will be purchasing the wonderful words booklet and the foundation course for my other son too.

I actually still cannot believe we have found the best teacher I could imagine for learning English. English was always an area we struggled for finding the right materials or a clear path of learning compared to maths.

“Apps, flashcards, stories. We tried everything. My DS didn't enjoy them and when she did learn words she used them inappropriately.

“Lists, apps, flashcards, stories, games etc do not work on their own. If they did, qualified English teachers and schools would not be needed.

All English markers have seen the poor-quality exam writing produced by candidates affected by terrible tutoring and bad practice.

Long words learnt by rote and thrown in. The usual epidemic of synonyms, antonyms and similes. Nonsensical, weak writing and exam failure are the outcomes.

Just because you have been taught something, it doesn’t mean you can teach it. Some of these tutors have a lot to answer for.
